Message From Principal

Warm welcome to all the students aspiring for admission in GANJDUNDWARA COLLEGE GANJDUNDWARA (KASGANJ)
What is a College? Can a big magnificent building be called a college? If we think deeply, we shall realize the true answers to these questions. A college cannot be made only by constructing a grand building. Two other very important components, teachers and students are needed to make a complete college. A college takes true shape only when all the three parts - building, teachers and students are united. The general spectacle that we witness today is that the building component is stronger than the other two. Because of the growing commercialization of education, a cut throat competition has crept in it. As a result of it, colleges with extra-ordinary infrastructural facilities have come into existence in which the sight of educational trading is commonly and frequently seen rendering quality education based on cultural and human values meaningless and redundant. What then is the future of education in the country? What is going to be the outcome of such a system of education devoid of cultural values ? Such a system would no doubt produce highly qualified professionals but certainly not good citizens.
Today we see that our entire educational system is losing its existence for want of moral values. There is a character crisis before the younger generation which is being fed with western cultural values through media and internet. It is really a cause of concern. In such a scenario it becomes the moral duty of our intellectuals and teachers to guide them by showing the right direction. We are fully confident that our worthy teachers will be successful in their attempt by imparting value based education to the students. Modern age is an age of competition and in it value based education has lost its place. No emphasis is given on the upliftment of the moral and spiritual values. An educational system bereft of these values can do no good to students society and nation. A good quality based educational system is must for a strong and cultured society. Social evils can be rooted out only through such a system. Education is necessary for a strong and cultured society. It is an integral part of the social life. Both students and teachers can play a vital role in maintaining a healthy academic atmosphere in our educational institutions. Ganjdundwara College, Ganjdundwara ever since its inception in 1958 has always strived for excellence and for providing meaningful and purposeful education to its students and for the all sound development of their personality. It is our pledge that we will always try our best to continue the good work we have done in the past in the interest of the students in particular and the society in general.
